Welcome to North Palm Beach Movers. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By hiring or engaging our moving and storage services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided

We offer moving and storage services, including but not limited to:

  • Local Moving
  • Long-Distance Moving
  • Residential Moving
  • Commercial Moving
  • Moving and Storage

The scope of services will be detailed in the written estimate or agreement provided before your move.

2. Estimates and Quotes

  • All estimates provided are based on the information shared by the client and are subject to change if additional services or items are added.
  • Any discrepancies in the initial inventory list or service requirements may result in adjustments to the final cost.

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the move may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required upon the completion of the move unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, or any other method specified in your agreement.
  • Any unpaid balances are subject to collection efforts and applicable late fees.

5. Responsibilities of the Client

To ensure a smooth and efficient move, clients must:

  • Provide accurate information about the inventory and special requirements.
  • Ensure safe access to and from the premises.
  • Secure parking permits if required.
  • Notify us of any fragile, valuable, or special items that require specific care.

6. Insurance and Liability

  • Basic Coverage: All moves include basic valuation coverage at no additional cost, which provides coverage based on the weight of the item.
  • Additional Insurance: Clients may purchase additional insurance for higher-value items.
  • Limitations: North Palm Beach Movers is not liable for damages resulting from:
    • Items packed by the client.
    • Acts of nature (e.g., storms, floods).
    • Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., road closures, traffic accidents).

7. Storage Services

  • Items stored in our facilities are subject to additional terms outlined in your storage agreement.
  • Clients are responsible for keeping their contact and payment information up to date to avoid storage access issues or disposal of items due to non-payment.

8. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, the following items cannot be transported or stored:

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, explosives).
  • Perishable items.
  • Illegal substances or items.
  • Firearms and ammunition (unless declared and permitted by law).

9. Damage Claims

  • Any claims for damages must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of the move.
  • We reserve the right to inspect the damaged items before resolving the claim.
  • Compensation, if any, will be processed based on the agreed-upon insurance coverage.

10. Changes to Schedule or Scope of Work

  • Clients must notify us as soon as possible of any changes to the moving date, time, or scope of work.
  • Additional charges may apply for last-minute changes or services outside the initial agreement.

11. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

  • The client fails to adhere to these terms and conditions.
  • Unsafe or unsanitary conditions are encountered during the move.
  • Inappropriate or abusive behavior is directed toward our staff.

12. Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
